Design

I appreciate designs that feel "intuitive," whether in game mechanics, gameplay, or level design. I strive to create elegant, tightly integrated designs while eliminating unnecessary complexity.​

Level Design

For level design, I ensure every element serves a purpose, with callbacks between different areas that encourage exploration and prevent the experience from becoming a series of disconnected challenges or puzzles that feel like "solving homework problems."

Game Design

In gameplay design, I favor creating "double-edged sword" mechanics that align naturally with the game's core experience and player intuition, while adding depth to the gameplay.
