Hi, my name is VV(Shuoyu) Chen, and I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Interactive Media & Game Design at the University of Southern California. Before this, I earned my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in China.

While my academic background is rooted in engineering, I’ve always been passionate about design, especially within the realm of interactive media. I’m particularly drawn to gameplay and level design, as I enjoy creating engaging, fun experiences that challenge players. Additionally, I have a knack for art, and while I’m not a professional artist, I enjoy contributing creatively to the visual aspects of game design.

With a unique blend of technical knowledge and design interest, I aim to contribute to building immersive, meaningful experiences in the gaming world. I look forward to exploring new ways to bring ideas to life, whether it’s through compelling game mechanics or innovative level design.
